    Delayed EDIFACT delivery to three European terminals 17 Jul 2026 · 04:12–06:38 CET · 2 h 26 min · degraded
    1. 06:38ResolvedThe queue drained at 06:38. All 41,204 delayed messages were delivered in order; none were lost or duplicated. Terminals affected: Felixstowe South, Valencia Levante, Antwerp Deurganck. No berth plan was changed incorrectly, because inbound IFTSAI was unaffected.
    2. 05:50MonitoringThroughput back to normal. We are watching the backlog drain at roughly 400 messages a second.
    3. 05:21IdentifiedA partner VAN rotated a TLS certificate to a chain our egress proxy did not trust. Our connection pool retried in a tight loop and exhausted the outbound worker set, which delayed unrelated deliveries. We pinned the new chain and raised the pool ceiling.
    4. 04:31InvestigatingOutbound EDIFACT delivery is delayed by up to 40 minutes for terminals in the EU region. Inbound messages, the planning interface and the API are unaffected.
    5. 04:12DetectedDelivery latency crossed the 5-minute alert threshold. On-call paged.
Scheduled: Postgres major version upgrade, EU region 14 Jun 2026 · 02:00–02:47 CET · 47 min · maintenance
    1. 02:47CompletedFailover to the upgraded primary took 38 seconds. The interface reconnected without a reload; API writes returned 503 with maintenance for that window, as announced on 11 June.
    2. 02:00StartedAnnounced 72 hours ahead, outside every European terminal’s shift change.

Before this, the last unscheduled incident was on 2 March 2026: a 14-minute outage of the tide feed from one national hydrographic office, during which tide checks fell back to the last prediction and were marked as such on the board.
